The Fall / Winter 21.22 collection is inspired by the book "Orlando" from the famous writer Virginia Woolfpublished in October 11, 1928.“Orlando” is an ode to femininity and masculinity. It is a personal review by designer Esaú Yori about the maincharacter in Virginia Woolf 's book and uses the narrative of it to experiment with masculine and feminine codesthat coexist in harmony this season. With signature minimalist colour palette, using black and white as the base of the entire collection and complimentary additions of navy blue, military green, red and khaki, Esaú Yori returns to his tailoring roots, inspired by the deconstruction of the male and female codes to create a new silhouette full of details: wideshoulders, fitted waists, unisex large and disproportionate pieces, a study of the blazer and wrap-around coatsthat draw a timeless and genderless collection.

"Orlando" is a collection rich in details where we will find embroidery inspired by human anatomy, metallic embroidery inspired by the 70s and the urban Punk tribe, hand-made stitching that recalls the interior of classictailoring and prints inspired by the art of Pierre Soulages.Fabrications include Australian cashmere, English and French wool, Italian Velvet, Japanese Cotton and Chinese Silk. A carefully considered combination, creating one of Esaú Yori’s most personal collections to date.
